Match Report
Hale School, Perth 10 F vs  Trinity College
On: Saturday, 26 Feb 2022
Venue: Away

In a see-sawing encounter with our arch rivals Trinity, we snatched the lead in the final minutes, but were ultimately defeated by 1 point in the dying seconds of the game. The boys played a strategic and sporting style which was a credit to the team.

Lucas Watson: The skipper was untouchable when carrying the ball and strong in under the basket, played his best game to date.

Will Smart: Handled the ball down court and capped off his game with a massive 3 to to capture the lead with 2 minutes to go. It was a planned move that paid off and nearly won us the game!

Jasper Wearne: Was everywhere in the first half and made an impact on the scoreboard early. He followed up with a great defensive half in the second. His best game for the season.

Finn O'Neill: Continued to impress with his willingness to take the shot and carry the ball down court. Several key rebound touches influenced the play and kept Hale in with a chance.

David Kwon: Joined the team for this match and was outstanding with his deft skills and hard running play. Created scoring opportunities and took on the Trinity defenders with a display of "show 'n shine". Thanks David.
